Whilst creating the treasure trail ‘In Bloom‘ we passed the brand new, state-of-the-art Woking Hospice building in Goldsworth Park Centre. Woking & Sam Beare Hospices is leading the way in specialist palliative care for individuals who have life-limiting and terminal illnesses.

We discovered three very special garden spaces were created; the Retreat Garden, accessible from the hospice’s front of house café; the Wildlife Garden, at the rear of the building, and the Encircling Garden, which follows the perimeter of the hospice grounds. Also, the garden café is open to the public and dogs are very welcome. A ‘Tree of Life‘ sculpture can be seen offering a focal point for remembering loved ones.

It is well worth popping in or visiting their website and offering a donation to this deserving cause.
