At birth we board the boat for the start of our journey. We meet our parents for the first time and we believe they will always travel with by our side. As time goes by other people board the boat; and they will be significant, our siblings, friends, children and even the love of our lives. At one lock our parents will step down form the boat, leaving us on this journey. Others will step down over time, new passengers will alight, some will go unnoticed, perhaps missed opportunities for friendship or love. This boat ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes and farewells. Success consists of having a good relationship with all the passengers aboard, requiring that we give the best ourselves. The mystery to everyone is that we do not know at which location we ourselves will step down. So, we must live in the best way, love, forgive, and offer the best of who we are leaving beautiful memories for those continuing the journey.
